Kings of the Road has always been about supporting all things motorised, from trucks and machinery to performance cars and grassroots motorsport. We believe in celebrating passion, engineering, and the communities that form around them, and nowhere is that passion more visible than in the drifting scene. Drifting represents skill, control, creativity, and respect for the machine, and it continues to grow as one of the most exciting and accessible motorsports in Ireland.
Following the huge success of King of the Cone drifting in 2023, Kings of the Road was proud to return in 2024 in a bigger and more committed way. This year marked a major step forward with the introduction of our own two Kings of the Road–branded drift competition cars, showing our long-term investment in the sport and the people behind it.
Supporting drifting in Ireland is important to us because it provides a positive, structured outlet for young people to develop driving skills, mechanical knowledge, and discipline in a safe, competitive environment. By backing the drifting community, we’re helping nurture talent, promote responsible motorsport, and keep Irish car culture thriving for the next generation.
