So we are genuinely shocked by how quickly we are moving at the Kings. After a crazy Christmas in 2022, postal strikes and stock shortages, we settled down in January, to planning for the upcoming shows and organising new clothing for the 2023 season.
In February of 2023 we moved to new offices at W8 in Manorhamilton, Co Leitrim, for light manufacturing and despatch. This allowed us to consolidate the way we would ship across Europe and beyond. This move allowed us to sort out stock and look at our range. This move was a major milestone for the company.
Then out of the blue we got the word that we had been Nominated for the
E-Commerce Project of the Year 2023 by the DNA Awards. We were shocked and thrilled especially after our success in the Fermanagh Business awards in October 2022.
We headed into March with renewed excitement. We had been planning a launch of the Official Kings of the Road Shop in Belcoo, Co Fermanagh and we planned to open it on the 1st of April. So we busied ourselves with getting it ready, and brought in our two new staff members, Hayley and Bella, who both helped get the shop ready for the launch. Kris organised The Tumbling Paddies and Paul Kelly to come and visit on the day, with added music by Dj Kilkenny.
We then headed to Belfast ICC, Waterfront Hall for the Awards. A great night for us to be a part of such an amazing gathering of Northern Ireland Tech.
After a great night, we recovered and focused on the opening of the Official Kings Shop.
