Ploughing 2025 - A Great week!!

Being at the Ploughing National Competition 2025 in Ireland was an unforgettable experience for everyone involved with Kings of the Road, and this year marked a major milestone in our journey. The atmosphere, the scale, and the sense of community that surrounds the event never fails to impress, but 2025 felt especially significant for us as we took our place at the heart of it all.

For the first time, Kings of the Road proudly had its own marquee at the event. Having a dedicated space allowed us to truly connect with the people who represent the backbone of the industries we celebrate. From early morning until evening, the marquee became a hub of conversation, laughter, shared stories, and mutual respect. Farmers, drivers, mechanics, logistics professionals, families, and visitors from across Ireland and beyond stopped by to say hello, check out what we’re about, and share their own experiences from the road and the field.

The Ploughing Championships have always been about more than agriculture alone. They are about innovation, resilience, tradition, and the people who keep the country moving. Being there with our own presence reinforced exactly why Kings of the Road exists — to celebrate real people doing real work, often behind the scenes, yet essential to everyday life. The energy around the marquee reflected that shared understanding and pride.

One of the standout moments of the event was the official launch of the Queens of the Road Collection. This launch was met with incredible enthusiasm and support, and rightly so. The collection represents strength, independence, and recognition for women who work across transport, logistics, agriculture, and related industries. Too often their contributions are overlooked, but the Queens of the Road Collection is about visibility, respect, and celebration of women drivers, owners and all those that work in logistics.

Throughout the event, we had the opportunity to meet inspiring women from all walks of life  drivers, business owners, farmers, operators, and supporters — who saw themselves reflected in the collection. The response confirmed what we already believed: there is a strong demand for representation that feels authentic, empowering, and rooted in real-world experience. Launching this collection at such an iconic Irish event felt both meaningful and fitting.

Beyond the product launch, the conversations were what truly made the week special. Hearing first hand stories from people who face long days, early starts, unpredictable conditions, and demanding schedules reminded us once again of the dedication that keeps Ireland and the wider UK rolling. The Ploughing Championships provided the perfect setting to pause, acknowledge that effort, and celebrate it together.

As we look back on Ploughing 2025, we do so with enormous pride and gratitude. Having our marquee, launching the Queens of the Road Collection, and connecting with so many incredible people made this year one to remember. It reaffirmed our mission and strengthened our resolve to continue celebrating the kings and queens of the road the people who keep everything moving, no matter the season.

We leave the Ploughing Championships inspired, motivated, and already looking forward to what comes next.
