Trucks of N. Ireland through the Lens was the brainchild of Michael Wallace a lorry driver from Banbridge. The idea began when Michael’s cousin Emily was diagnosed with Leukaemia, and he had to stand in for the child’s father in the family business. As people in Ireland have a huge fascination with their trucks and Michael had previous experience doing book design, he decided to put a book together. With the help of a team of photographers they were able to capture every haulage firm in the North of Ireland as well as providing a detailed history of the businesses from where they began. There is a three-part series of books with the latest one only out this year. The team have been able to support some local charities along the way including the Children’s Cancer Fund N.I, K.B.R.T and Men’s Mental Health. These are the No.1 best-selling truck books in Ireland and a must have for any lorry enthusiast
